Sydney, 27 August 2026 - KOR, a fintech leader in global reporting services and trade repositories today announced that its Australian derivative trade repository is live and accepting submissions. Reporting entities across all client segments can report under the ASIC Derivative Transaction Rules across all reportable asset classes.

KOR was granted its Australian Derivative Trade Repository licence by ASIC, and is one of only two licensed ADTRs in the market. Today's launch makes that licence operational, and means Australian reporting entities have a genuine alternative.

The timing matters. Since ASIC implemented its first major rewrite effective October 2024, their attention to reporting quality and rules adherence has notably increased. Fines have been issued and data quality assessment reports delivered. The market is on notice to ensure it is reporting the most complete and accurate data. The trade repository is a key part of that processing chain and feedback loop. Accepted trades does not always mean correct submissions or that necessary feedback for improvement is provided. KOR's launch changes that.

"Australian firms have been reporting into infrastructure they did not choose and could not influence," said Jonathan Thursby, Chief Executive Officer of KOR. "Our position here is the one we take in every market we operate in: a better product, a better price and better service. A reporting team should be able to have a well explained reason for why a message was rejected and how to correct it, have a TR that is always open to receive data, and a support staff who are experts in the regulations. That is not an ambitious standard for a trade repository. It is the baseline."

ASIC has designed migration to be uneventful. Moving an existing population of open trades and positions requires a port out message to the incumbent repository and a port in message to KOR using the same UTI, with no re-keying and no reconstruction of history. Closed trades and positions stay with the old TR. Clients of KOR’s Reporting Services will have the porting process fully facilitated.

KOR's sub-second message processing, insightful rejection responses aggregated by message, real-time rejection grouping for rapid identification of systemic issues, validations applied faithfully and transparently to the regulatory specification, extensive customisable reporting with on-demand access to full history, and a test environment running at parallel production performance have established a new standard for a high-performing trade repository.

The Australian launch extends KOR's portfolio of licensed trade repositories, which spans the United States with both the CFTC and the SEC, and all Canadian authorities. Firms carrying obligations across several jurisdictions can consolidate onto one platform and one operating model.

ASIC's list of licensed Australian derivative trade repositories is available here on the ASIC website.

About KOR KOR was built to challenge how regulatory reporting is done. In a market of fragmented systems, rigid templates and reactive compliance, KOR delivers a single, cloud-native platform for global, multi-jurisdiction, multi-asset regulatory reporting at scale. As both a reporting technology provider and a licensed trade repository, KOR replaces complexity with control and clarity.

Traditional platforms treat regulation as a collection of static forms. KOR treats it as a data problem. Its data-centric architecture lets firms standardise data once and reuse it across regimes, asset classes and new regulatory products, cutting duplication, manual intervention and operational risk. KOR automates the entire reporting lifecycle, from data ingestion and eligibility determination through validation, enrichment, submission, reconciliation and regulatory feedback management.

Trusted by banks, brokers, asset managers and energy market participants globally, KOR supports reporting across the United States, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Australia, including for Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFIR, REMIT, MAS and ASIC reporting rules, for firms that refuse to accept "good enough" compliance.
