KOR Watch SMS Program — Terms of Service
These terms govern the KOR Watch SMS on-call alert program (the “Program”) operated by KOR for its employees and contractors. By opting in to the Program you agree to these terms. These terms supplement, and for this Program take precedence over, any general KOR terms of use.
1. About the Program
KOR Watch is KOR’s internal incident-management and on-call tool. The Program sends SMS messages to opted-in KOR employees and contractors participating in on-call rotations. Messages are limited to:
- Production incident alerts and acknowledgment requests;
- Escalation notices when an alert has not been acknowledged; and
- On-call shift notifications and reminders.
The Program sends no marketing or promotional content, and no messages are sent to KOR clients or the general public. Participation is limited to KOR personnel; consent is never a condition of purchasing any KOR product or service.
2. Opting in
You opt in individually by signing in to KOR Watch (korwatch.kor.farm) with your KOR single sign-on account, entering your mobile number under Settings → Notifications, and checking the consent box. You may also text START, YES, or UNSTOP to the Program number after registering your number. Enrollment is confirmed with a one-time opt-in SMS. The opt-in flow is documented at the KOR Watch SMS opt-in page.
3. Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with incident activity — typically 0–10 messages per week per subscriber, and more during major incidents.
Msg & data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges apply to messages you receive from and send to the Program. KOR does not charge for the Program itself.
4. Opting out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP (or CANCEL, QUIT, OPTOUT, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL, REVOKE, or END) to any Program message, or remove your mobile number in KOR Watch → Settings → Notifications. After you send STOP, we will send one final SMS confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will receive no further messages from the Program. To rejoin, reply START or opt in again through KOR Watch settings.
5. Help and support
Reply HELP or INFO to any Program message for assistance. You can also contact KOR support directly at support@korfinancial.com.
6. Delivery and carriers
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and network conditions. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Because incident alerts are also delivered through the KOR Watch application, push notifications, and escalation calls, an undelivered SMS does not remove your on-call responsibilities under KOR’s internal policies.
7. Eligibility and acceptable use
The Program is available only to current KOR employees and contractors with an active KOR Watch account, using a mobile number they own or control. Your enrollment ends automatically when your KOR Watch account is deactivated. You are responsible for notifying KOR (by updating KOR Watch settings) if you change or give up your mobile number.
8. Privacy
Mobile numbers and consent records collected for the Program are handled as described in the KOR Watch SMS Privacy Policy, which supplements the KOR Privacy Policy. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
9. Changes to these terms
KOR may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always available at this page. Material changes will be announced inside KOR Watch. Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
