We’re thrilled to announce that KOR Financial has earned ISO 27001 certification in addition to our SOC2 certification earlier this year. As the world of business continues to become more interconnected and reliant on data, cybersecurity has become one of our top priorities. Obtaining these certifications serves as an assurance to our clients that their data is secure and protected.

At KOR, we strive to protect our clients’ data and privacy through industry-leading security measures. With the addition of these certifications, our clients can rest easy that their data is secure at KOR.

ISO 27001 is the world’s leading framework for developing a secure and safe environment and provides a roadmap for protecting assets through a risk management-oriented approach. It states the requirements for setting up and managing a security system to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information for our internal and external clients.

With the SOC2 certification, we can guarantee our clients that our security controls, policies, and procedures are compliant with the Trust Services Criteria established by the American Institute of CPAs. This certification ensures that our systems are constructed and maintained in a secure and safe manner with regards to availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of data.

“Security is always our top priority,” said Wouter Sliedrecht, Chief Administrative Officer at KOR. “We strive to protect our clients’ data and privacy with industry-leading encryption technology and processes. Obtaining these certifications is a significant step towards our mission of providing a safe and secure environment for financial operations.”

In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, data security is becoming increasingly important for businesses. We feel the utmost responsibility to our clients to provide data protection and remain compliant. We have partnered with Security Ideals to ensure we have security top of mind each day. “The level of commitment and execution at KOR is industry leading” said Steve Huffman vCISO at Security Ideals. “In our partnership with KOR, we ensure all stakeholders continue to work within the ISO and SOC frameworks”.
